The postgraduate director of Singapore Xinyue University of Social Sciences, Calvin Chan, and the deputy director Chong Guan held a cooperative meeting with the School of Management SUES on the postgraduate double-degree project through Tencent conference on April 27th, 2021. Qiu Menghua, assocoaite dean of the School of Management, and Dr. Xie Yanxi attended the meeting at Room 625 Administration Building.
Dr. Chong Guan and Prof. Qiu Menghua, each introduced the general situation of their schools and colleges in details. Both sides agreed that there was a high degree of similarity between the two schools, and there was potential oppurtunities for cooperation in many fields in the future. Later on, the two sides exchanged ideas on curriculum arrangement and curriculum exchange on the possible cooperation of Master of Management and Master of Applied Research in Social Sciences.
Singapore University of Social Sciences, SUSS for short, is a public universities focus on applied research located in Jin Wentai, Singapore. Its predecessor can be traced back to 1964, and it was renamed as Singapore University of Social Sciences in 2017. It is one of the six statutory public universities under the Higher Education Committee of Singapore Ministry of Education. There are the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Business School, Law School, the School of President Nathan's Human Development and the School of Science and Technology. There are also consulting research institutions, applied research centers, continuing professional education centers, education and learning centers, Xinyue China Academic Center and other research institutions.
