On April 18th, Morris Altman, Dean of the Business School at the University of Dundee, UK, and his delegation visited our university. The Deputy Director of the International Office, Mr. Li Cong, Ms. Bao Mengying, Ms. He Binglun, the Vice Dean of the School of Management Prof. Ye Xinliang, Dr. Xie Yanxi attended the cooperation meeting in Conference Room 302 and discussed the future direction of possible programs between the two sides.
Li Cong, Deputy Director of the International Office, first extended a warm welcome to Professor Altman and his delegation. He pointed out that our university and the University of Dundee have a good foundation for cooperaion and deep friendship. During the visit of Vice President Xia Chunming, he led a delegation to hold cooperaion talks with several colleges of the University of Dundee, including the Business School, and achieved fruitful results. He hoped that both sides would take this exchange as an opportunity to actively promote the implementation of the consensus reached during the intercollegiate Office talks between the two universities, and strengthen Office in teaching, scientific research and other fields.
Morris Altman expressed his heartfelt thanks for the warm reception of our school. He detailed the basic situation of the University of Dundee Business School, newly opened programs and professional international certification. He said that the University of Dundee Business School and our school's School of Management have many similarities in terms of school-running majors and school-running concepts, and have a good foundation and space for cooperaion. He looked forward to implementing more cooperaion programs benefiting teachers and students in the fields of joint student cultivating, academic exchanges and cooperaion between professors.
Ye Xinliang, the Vice Dean of the School of Management, briefly introduced the basic situation of the school and put forward suggestions on the possible areas and directions of cooperaion between the two sides.
